Description: The Shared Reading Project (SRP) is designed to teach parents and caregivers how to read to their deaf and hard of hearing children using American Sign Language, and to use strategies to make book sharing most effective.

-Early booksharing experiences contribute to higher reading ability in school.
-Come learn to read to your deaf or hard of hearing children.
-Deaf tutors provide sign language instruction of one new books each month.Tutor teaching a family how to sign a children's book
-Lots of fun activities for the kids.
-Refreshments will be provided.
-ASL/English/Spanish interpreters are provided.
-This event is FREE.
-We ask that you please RSVP at least 3 days before the program is scheduled.
-Learn to read stories in Sign Language!
